Description
The Women’s Air Jordan 5 Retro ‘Dunk on Mars’ pays homage to Spike Lee’s alter ego, Mars Blackmon, whose planetary namesake is also known as the Red Planet. To that end, the heritage silhouette sports a scarlet suede upper, accented with translucent quarter-panel netting and contrasting black eyelets. Jumpman branding appears on the silver reflective tongue, while ‘23’ is embroidered on the lateral heel. The sneaker rides on an Air-assisted black polyurethane midsole with fiery shark-tooth detailing in orange and red. Underfoot, a yellow-tinged translucent rubber outsole features a herringbone tread for optimized grip.
