Description
The Nike Air Max 1 ‘Puerto Rico Day - Orange Frost’ is taken from a two-piece pack centered around Puerto Rico. Inspired by piragua (a shaved ice dessert that registers an appearance on the right shoe’s tongue tag), the retro runner sports a grey textile upper with coral-colored nubuck overlays, a jeweled Swoosh, and a two-tone synthetic suede mudguard in complementary yellow and burnt orange hues. ‘Puerto Rico’ is inscribed on metallic lace dubrae, as well as the back heel of the right shoe. The sneaker rests on a white polyurethane midsole, fitted with an exposed Air-sole unit in the heel.
