Description
Paying homage to the Windy City, the Air Jordan 23 ‘Chicago’ released in October 2015. The special-edition release ditches the DNA-inspired stitch detailing that’s a hallmark feature of the 23 and replaces it with a solid tumbled red leather, accented with contrast yellow stitching around the bottom edge. MJ-specific design touches – including his autograph on the toe and an outsole inspired by his fingerprint – are combined with Chicago flourishes. Other details include ‘Chi’ and ‘City’ skyline embroidery on the heels, and the Chicago’s 773 and 312 area codes on each interior tongue.
